Tenderness

A year before I was born, my mother bought me the book Charlotte and The White Horse, written by Ruth Krauss and illustrated by Maurice Sendak. She gave it to me on my first birthday, and it became the favorite book of my childhood.

These photographs are inspired by that story and the emotions it holds: sadness, joy, love, and connection.
